These fish tacos make a quick meal. You can use almost any fish you like.

Today is Good Friday. These fish tacos are really easy and quick to make for Good Friday.

Good Friday is the day the whole church mourns the death of Jesus. It is a day of sadness spent fasting and praying.   This would be your only meal for today along with two much smaller meals.

What makes these Cuban? The spices of course. The mixture of citrus and spices makes this dish very flavorful.

CUBAN FISH TACOS

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound mahi mahi or salmon
1/4 cup olive oil
juice of one lime
1/4 cup freshly squeezed Orange juice
3 garlic cloves
2 green onions
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
6 corn or flour tortilla warmed

DIRECTIONS:

In a food processor combine the oil, lime juice, garlic, onion, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth. Place the fish and the marinade in a ziplock bag. Allow to marinade for 20 minutes. Bake fish in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve over warmed tortillas with salsa and cheese.
